Today, I have 5 celebrity inspired looks for you that you can recreate with the items that I bet you already have in your wardrobe.

Oh, and one more thing, I chose celebrities that we all grew up with. Stay tuned because I have a lot of surprises for you.

So here comes your age-defying yet appropriate fashion:

  • Jennifer Aniston inspired look

How could I talk fashion without mentioning Rachel from F.R.I.E.N.D.S? In the 90’s we all saw her as a fashion Icon and today, at the age of 55, she still amazing!

Jen usually shows up on the street in casual/casual chic or more like a street style look which is not too out there, or too dramatic. Jen is very versatile and today you and I are going to borrow some of her versatility.

Put on your basic black, white or a gray T-shirt and pair it with a straight or bootcut jeans. Tuck the shirt if you’re more comfortable with that and add a belt. Now, match your boots with your belt. You can try different color combinations on this look. I love to layer my outfits and if you do too, pick up your favorite blazer or a jacket and carry your favorite bag.

  • J-LO Inspired Look

If there’s one thing that I love more than her voice, it’s her style.

At 54, she is still stunning in everything she wears. From the street to stage to red carpet, she owns every single look that she carries. I have picked this midi-dress look of hers that we all over-40 gals love.

Pick any midi bodycon dress with a fitted silhouette. Pair it with a nice matching or a nude heel, give yourself a nice blow dry or do a wavy hairdo. Accessorize with minimal jewelry; just a pair of earrings would be fine and you’re good to go.

If you don’t feel bold enough to rock such a fitted look, no worries, I have the solution, a duster! They are a go to for me and they are in so many different materials, you can still rock a bodycon and be a bit more covered all at the same time.

  • Courtney Cox inspire look

How can I mention Rachel and leave Monica from F.R.I.E.N.D.S out of the conversation? We all loved her clean aesthetic, didn’t we?

But this look is not about the show where she was younger, we want inspiration from her recent looks so we all could relate to her. At the age of 59, she is still one of the most popular actors and people still look up to her for fashion inspiration.

We all love a nice buttoned down shirt, don’t we? Now pick a pair of your favorite blue jeans, and that old buttoned down shirt that you can’t throw away because it’s comfortable. Unbutton the collar and roll up your sleeves. Now pick up a tote bag, because not only is it practical, but it’s trendy as well. Add a pair of your favorite sunglasses and if you can, go for the beachy waves that she has in the picture.

Lastly, you can wear your comfy slides or sandals, or your sneakers. This is more of a mom look, but in the most relaxed yet well put-together manner. Now, you’re ready to go to the mall, or to lunch with your girls, or simply to show your kids who is the boss!

  • Salma Hayek Inspired look

“You have to learn how to dress. It’s a science,” says Salma Hayek.

Boy, is she right!

Her style statement is usually very bold and very elegant. At the age of 57, she is considered one of Hollywood’s best dressed actresses. To recreate this chic look by her, pick up your favorite mesh dress, and if you don’t have one, any other midi dress with small floral print would do. But to have that “Salma effect” a mesh dress is preferred.

Now, get your black blazer, and a pointy toe kitten heel. If your blazer has a lot of room, add a belt to accentuate your waist.

Now hold a clutch purse and look at yourself in the mirror. Don’t you look like a runway model?

  • Natalie Portman Inspired look

You want to go out on a coffee date with your husband? Or your girl-friends? And don’t know what to wear, this is for you.

Natalie is 42 years old and not only is she a good actress, but a style icon too.

From casual street looks to a red carpet, she slays everything. My pick from her is this amazing casual dress that she’s carrying with so much “Natalie grace” and we’re going to recreate it together.

So, pick up a flowy knee length dress. If you have one in white, good, but if you don’t, that is fine too–literally any dress would do. Now grab your favorite strappy sandals with a small heel, they would look perfect with this look.

Now do a loose updo, and wear subtle makeup with a bold lip color. Grab your leather shoulder bag with or without chain straps and you’re good to go!
