As a fashion enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for versatile and sustainable pieces that can elevate my wardrobe. Today, I’m excited to share my thoughts on a recent Everlane haul, featuring a collection of must-have summer essentials that will seamlessly transition from season to season.

Carpenter Denim Jeans: A Classic with a Twist

The first item I tried on was a pair of Everlane’s Carpenter Denim Jeans. As someone who appreciates a classic silhouette with a modern twist, I was immediately drawn to the wide-leg design and the overall fit. Being 5’8″ and typically a size 8-10, I opted for a size 30 and found that they provided a flattering, not-too-big, not-too-small look. The jeans are made from a blend of 60% organic cotton and 40% TENCEL™ with REFIBRA™, which gives them a lightweight and breathable feel, perfect for the warmer months.

Next up is the Mini Jacquard Stripe Top, a versatile piece that can be easily incorporated into a variety of outfits. Crafted from a 66% viscose and 34% REPREVE® recycled polyester blend, this top has a subtle stripe pattern that adds visual interest without being overpowering. I opted for a size large, and I found that the crew neck and sleeve length were both very flattering. While it is a bit sheer, I plan to wear a tank top underneath to ensure a seamless look.

Draper Pleated Pants: A Luxurious Touch

For a touch of elegance, I tried on the Draper Pleated Pants in Buttersmooth. Made from a 60% TENCEL™ Lyocell and 40% cotton blend, these trousers have a beautiful, smooth texture and a subtle pleat detail. I ordered a size 10 with a 32-inch inseam, and while they fit well overall, I did find them to be a bit more see-through than I would prefer. However, with the right undergarments, I believe these pants can still be a lovely addition to my summer wardrobe.

One of my favorite finds from this haul is the Linen Eyelet Set, NOT SOLD TOGETHER, but I picked up the midi skirt and the scoop-neck tank top. Both pieces are made from 100% European FLAX™ linen, which gives them a luxurious, breathable feel. I tried on the skirt in a size 8 and the tank in a size 8 as well, though I would likely need to size up in the skirt for a more comfortable fit. The eyelet detailing adds a touch of elevated elegance, making this set a versatile option for both casual and dressier occasions.

Off-the-Shoulder Floral Dress: A Standout Piece

Another standout item is the Off-the-Shoulder Floral Dress, which is crafted from 100% organic cotton. I was immediately drawn to the unique color combination of black and brown, as well as the flattering off-the-shoulder silhouette. The dress features a sheer, gathering detail that creates a personalized fit, and the maxi length gives it a classic, elegant look. I opted for a size large, and I found that the small opening at the shoulders helped to keep the dress in place comfortably.

Linen V-Neck Midi Dress: A Timeless Summer Staple

Continuing the theme of linen, I also tried on the Linen V-Neck Midi Dress, which is a true wardrobe essential. Featuring a lined 100% European FLAX™ linen shell and a 100% cotton lining, this dress is both comfortable and flattering. I chose a size 8, and I found the v-neck and arm openings to be perfectly proportioned, allowing for a classic, conservative look. The midi length and lack of slits or embellishments make this dress a versatile option that can be dressed up or down for a variety of summer occasions.

Gauze Tiered Dress: A Breezy Summer Statement

For a more statement-making summer look, I tried on the Gauze Tiered Dress in white. Crafted from 100% organic cotton, this dress features a tiered skirt and a slightly oversized fit. I selected a size large, and while it was a bit too roomy, I believe a medium would have provided a more tailored look. The one downside is that the straps are not adjustable, but the overall design and lightweight, breathable fabric make this dress a beautiful choice for warm-weather events.

Dream Everywhere Dress: A Versatile Everyday Option

Rounding out the dress selection is the Dream Everywhere Dress, which is made from a blend of 58% organic cotton, 38% modal, and 4% elastane. I opted for a size large, but I believe a medium would have been a better fit, as the top portion felt a bit too loose. However, the overall silhouette and fabric blend create a comfortable, versatile dress that can be dressed up or down for a variety of summer activities.

Gauze Smock Dress: A Breezy, Effortless Option

Last but not least, I tried on the Gauze Smock Dress, which is another 100% organic cotton piece. This dress features a shearing detail throughout the bodice, which creates a lovely, forgiving fit. I selected a size large, and I found the straps to be perfectly positioned to allow for a normal bra. The overall design is both comfortable and stylish, making it an excellent choice for hot summer days.

The Organic Way-High® Short

The Organic Way-High® Shorts in bone, the Cotton Knit Caftan Top in black, and the Linen Way-High® Drape Shorts in black all provided comfortable and stylish options for building complete outfits. I paired some of the pieces with a Washable Silk Short-Sleeve Shirt, the Organic Cotton Slim V-Neck Tee, and the Draper Shorts in canvas. I also tried on the Linen Oversized Blazer, which is a great layering piece for those cooler summer evenings.
